All Full Tilt ages (Workshop & Competition) are determined as of January 1, 2026. For example: Ages for October 2025 events will be as of January 1, 2026, and ages for May 2026 events will be as of January 1, 2026.
The workshop ages listed above are simply guidelines. Studio Owners/Directors may use their discretion to place their dancers in the appropriate classroom levels. Please remember that for the scholarship audition, all dancers must be in their age appropriate (as of January 1, 2026) workshop room.
Level changes can be made onsite within the first two classes of the workshop. Please notify the Full Tilt Info Desk of any level changes, and we will exchange wristbands if necessary. A Studio Owner or Teacher must be present to approve/confirm any level changes.
In some cities, levels may be combined. In those instances, dancers will still be evaluated separately (by age group) during any scholarship auditions.
[HitchKick] Allow 7 year-olds to “upgrade” to Mini workshop (but not younger dancers).
Early Tuition fees only apply to registrations submitted and PAID IN FULL by the “Early Registration Deadline” for each city.
See your city page for exact Early Registration Deadline dates.
In most cities, the Early Registration Deadline is 30 days before the event.
Dance studios may apply their own additional administrative fees. This is very common in the industry and is used to cover the time and expense Studio Owners incur while organizing, registering and attending these events.
Payment Terms
FULL payments are required 30 DAYS prior to the event. Unpaid registrations will not be included in the event and the space will be relinquished to a studio on the waiting list.
Payments must be made by Credit Card or ACH. When paying by ACH all payments must be received 45 days prior to the first day of the event.
NO STUDIO CHECKS, PERSONAL CHECKS, CERTIFIED CHECKS or MONEY ORDERS will be accepted.
Most of our cities sell out before the registration deadline. In an effort to plan our events more efficiently, we have implemented a $50 deposit per routine. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to another city/event. For Studio registrations, if a routine is removed before the 30-day deadline, the deposit can be applied to the remaining balance for that city/event only. Please understand this is being implemented to help give opportunities to the most amount of dancers at each event and to prevent last-minute cancellations.
Once your registration is completed via HitchKick, you will receive an email confirmation. If you do NOT receive an email confirmation, your registration was not fully completed.
Refund Policy
If an event is canceled (for a pandemic, state of emergency, etc.), refunds will be made within 14 days of the event.
There are NO refunds if an attendee cancels. Credit requests will be addressed on a case-by-case basis with the registration account holder.
Dancers must be registered for the entire workshop to compete.
Onsite payments must be paid by credit card, cashier's check or money order.
Full Tilt does not accept cash, personal checks OR studio checks at any events, at any time.
Full Tilt uses a cashless payment model. We do not accept cash onsite at the Full Tilt Store, Info Desk or Photo/Video Booth.
Onsite workshop registrations are not guaranteed and will be accepted based on availability.
Full Tilt does not offer individual class rates.
DANCER DISCOUNTS
Dancers attending more than one 2025-2026 Full Tilt regional workshop will receive a 25% workshop fee discount for each additional city. This discount does not apply to One Day dancers or College Discount dancers.
COLLEGE DISCOUNTS
Full Tilt is proud to offer a discounted workshop rate of $229/dancer for dancers with valid college IDs.
Dancers applying the college discount must be registered for the Senior Ballroom.
The college discount is only valid for dancers 17-26 years old and cannot be combined with any other discounts.
PEEWEE PROGRAM
Our Full Tilt PeeWee program is the perfect intro into the convention world for dancers ages 5 and up! It includes two days of workshop classes and its own age division in the competition. The PeeWee program is a great fit for dancers who are ready to experience a convention/competition weekend but might find the Mini workshop level too challenging.
PeeWees receive two half-days of workshop classes (Saturday & Sunday) in a variety of styles. The PeeWee experience also includes a custom T-shirt and the opportunity to perform on the Full Tilt main stage.
One free PeeWee Observer band will be given to the studio for the appropriate parent/guardian for each registered PeeWee dancer. This wristband will only allow entry into the PeeWee workshop room. It does not grant access to the Mini, Junior, Teen, Senior or Teacher workshop rooms – NO exceptions. Additional PeeWee Observer bands can be purchased onsite, if needed.
PeeWees can participate in the competition if they are registered for both days of the PeeWee workshop. One-day PeeWees cannot compete.
ONE-DAY WORKSHOP
Full Tilt offers a One-Day Workshop option. Dancers that are registered in the competition must be registered for the full weekend and cannot register for the One-Day Workshop.
One-day participants can register for the One-Day Workshop for Saturday OR Sunday. However, we recommend that participants register for Saturday since the Sunday classes may be continuations of what is started in the classes on Saturday.
One-day participants are NOT eligible for any scholarships.
INDEPENDENT DANCERS
Full Tilt believes that dancers are best served by attending consistent classes with a reputable dance studio. We do acknowledge that in certain circumstances a dancer is "independent." Full Tilt defines independent dancers as dancers not associated with a physical dance studio and taking consistent classes as part of a structured program. We understand this rule is subjective, therefore any questions will be resolved at the Full Tilt Director's discretion.
Independent dancers are welcome to participate in the Full Tilt Workshop.
Independent dancers are not eligible to compete in Full Tilt's Competition.
Independent dancers are unable to receive scholarships.
SCHOLARSHIP REDEMPTION
Once a dancer has been "added" to your workshop registration online, click the scholarship checkbox and choose the dancer's scholarship from the dropdown selection list. This dancer's registration fees will then be waived.
Should a dancer change studios or become "Independent," they will need to provide Full Tilt with formal authorization from their previous studio in order to use any scholarships through their new studio.
OBSERVERS
Friends & family of registered dancers are allowed into the workshop classes if they have purchased an Observer wristband ($59 Early Tuition or $69 Full Tuition).
All Observers must be attending with registered dancers and may not be Teachers, Studio Owners or dancers.
Observer wristbands are required for all workshop classes on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Observer wristbands are not required for the Competition or Closing Show. Observers do not have access to the Teacher/Studio Owner workshop classes, Audition Combo classes, Scholarship Auditions or closed rehearsals at any time.
Full Tilt reserves the right to limit observers within each ballroom, subject to attendance and space limitations. If the limit is reached prior to the convention, Observer wristbands will not be sold onsite.
Full Tilt reserves the right to revoke any Observer privileges at any time.
One-day Observer wristbands are not available.
Observers 10 years and under are free, as long as they are accompanied by a paid Observer.
Photo and video during convention are allowed. Please remember to be respectful of the class.
Observer wristbands are NON-REFUNDABLE. No exceptions.
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
